Dark Inanga Nephrite Bracelet

Description

This stone is dark Inanga. It originates from the West Coast Hokitika region. It was sort after due to its hardness compared to other Inanga varieties which could be far softer and not as good for making Toki or other working tools. It was also very highly prized by North Island Chiefs and pre–European Māori aristocracy for mere and adornment.
