Ika Puru Iti – Little blue fish, these stunning Roimata (tear shape) earrings are made from Whakatu (Nelson, New Zealand) Kikorangi (Blue) Inanga (Whitebait) Pounamu (Jade). This Jade is chatoyant and has dendrites. Inanga Pounamu has a distinctive blue-grey-white flesh and can be highly transparent, resembling the pale colour and transparency of young white bait. Dendrites are diffusion-limited crystal growth and is a natural tree like or moss like formation in the stone.
